- Create a 9 slide PowerPoint on your group’s region.
- Divide the work among the group members and combine into one PowerPoint.

- Find or create a visual image for imperialism—a cartoon/analogy/or an original depiction from time-period.
- Flag and military symbols of the Imperialistic power affecting the region.
- Side-by-side comparison of the historical and modern maps of the region. Use this website if necessary: Imperialism in the Modern World Map (Link)
- Describe the Imperialistic Power’s economic goal in the region. (What were they there for? Tea? Gold? Slaves? Land? Military Bases? Coffee? Oil? New markets?) Include a representative image.
- Describe the Imperialistic Power’s social affect on the region. (How were the people used, subjugated, treated in general—paternalism?)
- Describe the Imperialistic Power’s political goals in the region. (To gain international prestige by acquiring new lands? What power structure was imposed?)
